October Movie: Before We Go

Well it's basically Autumn again and the place I love to be in the most during this time is the movie theater! I honestly love going to the movies all the time and now that college is back around, and the weather is eventually (hopefully) going to get cold soon, there's no place cozier than the cinema! Last time I watched a good romantic movie was months ago when The Longest Ride came out. Recently, it's been really hard to actually find a good movie of this genre. ANYWAY! Tomorrow, on October 1st, Before We Go comes out in movie theaters across Lebanon. I watched the trailer and read some reviews, and it seems like a really cute romantic movie that's perfect for a light and relaxing Friday or Saturday night. I, for one, want to go watch it! It stars Chris Evans and Alice Eve. The two meet in Grand Central Terminal and end up spending the night out in New York City. Check out the trailer cause it definitely seems more interesting than my brief and sorta boring one-sentence description, lol!

Settling into a semester be like! (GIFs)

So it's been a month since the semester started and the work began piling up. Yep it feels kinda overwhelming so I'm here to lighten up the mood with some things that we all feel during a semester!

1. When the teacher posts the syllabus online and you realize the number of assignments you're going to have

2. When your guilt conscience yells at you every time you pass by the library and don't enter

3. When that tentative holiday turns into an extremely long weekend

4. When you realize you pulled two all-nighters in a row during finals

5. That moment when you desperately decide that you've studied enough

6. When your exam is in Nicely 500 and they finally open the doors

7. When the thing that your teacher told you would probably not come in the exam ends up being 20% of the total grade

8. When the person in charge of submitting the group assignment misses the deadline

9. When someone gets straight A's but they "don't study"

10. LAST DAY OF FINALS!!!!

The 10 Stages of Waiting for a Text in GIFs

HELLO! It's been a while since I wrote a post like this and I really missed it! So here goes, the 10 stages of waiting for that text you're dying to get!

1. When he finally asks for your number!

2. Leaving confidently knowing he'll text you soon

3. After a few days pass and you don't hear from him

4. When your friends encourage you to make the first move

5. When your best friend tells you to be patient

6. When your phone vibrates and you get all excited but it turns out it's that friend you don't even like

7. When the first thing you do in the morning is check your phone hoping you'll find that text

8. You start convincing yourself that you don't even need him anyway

9. The wait has gone far too long

10. HE FINALLY TEXTS OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE FLASHBACK POST!

Hi guys! I'm basically forever stuck in my child/teen years cause entertainment at the time was much better than nowadays, so I decided to dedicate a post to some things that define my life growing up, and I'm sure we all have a lot in common!

1. Pokemon. If you say you never woke up at like 8AM on a Saturday to watch Pokemon on TV, you're probably lying. Everyone passed through a Pokemon stage and I also proudly did. I'd climb out of bed really early on the weekend and quietly make my way out of my room and turn on the TV. This video brings back so many memories. Press the link, really, it's not what you think.

2. One Time - Justin Bieber. Yeah most of you reading this are like "what's wrong with her, no we don't like Justin"... Sure you might not like him now, but honestly no one had anything against him when he released his first single. Most of us used to get hyped up when they would play it on Nagham (lol, nagham), anyway here's a link to the song, enjoy!!  ME + YOU!

3. F.R.I.E.N.D.S! I grew up watching Paramount Comedy and I used to get so excited when Friends was on, especially that one time when they started putting 4 back-to-back episodes, like woah, mini friends marathon. Not to mention, Hope and Faith, 8 Simple Rules, George Lopez, My Wife and Kids, The Nanny, Fresh Prince of Bel Air... the list goes on and on! Comedy used to be so much better!

4. The Princess Diaries. Whether you're a guy or a girl, you've probably seen this movie. I actually watched it again a couple weeks ago and Elena and I actually stayed silent through the whole thing and watched it as if it was the first time, lol.

5. SAMMMURAI JACK SAMMMMURAI JACK. Was I the only one who really got annoyed when this show was on? I mean Cartoon Network has so many better shows and this one was just like a "kids, we know you don't wanna watch this so go do your homework now until something better is on". I don't know, I mean some kids might actually like this show but I used to get very disappointed when it would be on.

6. When this happened, omg Zidane what were you thinking.

7. MEAN GIRLS! Mean girls isn't just a movie, it's like a culture now, lol. Really though, we still quote this movie until today and we get overexcited when it's October 3rd! Here's to many more Mean Girls re-runs!

8. The pink Motorla flip-phone. I wanted it, my friends wanted it, basically everyone wanted it. But at the time, most of us were too young to even own a cell phone, unlike today's kids.

9. HOW FUN WERE THESE THINGS! I have no idea what they call them but OMG mine would always get twisted and I'd get so annoyed!

10. The last one goes to my favorite show growing up which was Lizzie Mcguire! Hilary Duff is such a role model and she's basically my favorite celebrity! Lizzie knew the struggle of finding something to wear.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW GUYS! :)

Underrated Artist of the Month: Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes is a 17-year old singer from the US. He started out posting videos of him singing on the popular video app Vine and most people probably know him from his single "Stitches". It's recently being played on the radio and I'm obsessed with it! Most of his songs are really good, yes I Youtubed almost all his songs at this point. His songs are really light and fun to listen to and have a certain innocent youth element to them. Every time I hear Stitches on the radio I raise the volume and dance while I drive, I definitely entertain everyone on the street, but it's too good a song to care!
