Confessions of a Shopaholic During Sale Season

Hi guys! As most of you are aware, the sale season has began! After Christmas and New Year are over, all your favorite stores go on sale! That time, my friends, is any girl's (or a shopaholic's) best time of year! Holiday sales aren't like any other sales, no no, they have a certain spirit to them. The stores are still decorated and the malls are still packed since everyone gets a few days after the New Year to rest a bit. So! How does a shopaholic react to these sales?! Well let's do this in chronological order why don't we!

1. First things first, we get a message on our cell phones from all our favorite stores telling us about the sale! AND it's a crime to put our phone down before we forward the message to our closest friends just in case (although if you're a shopaholic, your close friends are probably as well, so they definitely got the messages, lol!)

2. After putting the phone down, we attempt to cancel all our plans for the coming days so that we can attack the sales before anyone else does. No one wants to go to a store after the huge crowds of women have already went through all the items and left a sad pile of on-sale items on one of the tables.

3. The attack. Going through the stores when they have a sale is kind of like being in a battlefield. There is no one more aggressive than a woman who also wants the same bag you just set your eyes on. The fitting rooms are full but it is totally worth it to wait in line! That being said, there are always some girls who try to cut the line, but that ain't happening when I'm around, LOL! The best stores during the sales are the stores that have employees constantly putting everything back into place. Although I adore shopping, I instantly give up when the items are messy and nothing is shown clearly. I just walk out of the store in disappointment!

4. After trying on 720311222938464568 items, you are finally ready to take your picks to the cashier! At the cashier they usually have smaller items such as accessories stuffed in little compartments. What's another item going to do? You're not going to go broke, so you pick up a few items while waiting in line. When it's your turn, you happily watch the cashier fill up your bag with the brand new items that you are going to take home with you.

5. Finally, and this is my personal favorite part, unpacking the items from their bags. The crispness of the bags, the softness of the material, laying out all your items on your bed before you remove the tags and fold them into your closet. This is happiness!

ALRIGHT so I'm not a crazy shopaholic (denial) but I do love shopping! I think every girl who's been shopping can relate to this!
