The Right Way to Deal with a Breakup

Everyone is bound to go through a breakup in their life and it's only natural that it feels horrible. I've seen a lot of people get together, date, breakup, get back together again.. but the most emotional transition is the breakup. Most people don't know a world without depression when it comes to breakups, but actually you can make the most of it. Think of it as a second chance to start fresh.

What to do?

First off, wipe those tears, grab that mascara and reapply. Nothing makes you feel good about yourself as much as looking in the mirror and seeing a beautiful lady in front of you. Sure a lot of things matter besides your appearance, but it gives the best self-confidence boost and it's actually fun! Go out, buy a bunch of new products and revamp your usual makeup routine! When your life is going through a negative change, face it with a positive one and find a new look that suits you!

Other than that, it's always good to take on new activities that you can do by yourself. Sure you used to catch the new episode of your favorite series together and you probably had your own table at a specific restaurant, CHANGE THAT ALL UP! Start a new series, hit the gym, try new places... Don't cling to the memories you made, make new ones. It's not about finding a new and better guy now, it's about finding a new and better you. As cliche as that sounds, sometimes the only way to be content and truly happy is to find your best self before you share yourself with someone else!

Ditch the ice-cream buckets and your 10 Things I Hate About You DVD and go out. Surround yourself with friends and meet new ones! You are all social butterflies that deserve to have some fun without one specific thing killing your mood. Go to the movies, go pubbing, clubbing, swimming, skiing, do whatever makes you happy with people who love seeing you happy.

IF YOU'RE A GUY! 

I honestly don't really know what makes you happiest but in my opinion, shave that beard, hit the gym, bulk up, be successful, and show that girl what she's missing out on! Whoever says girls have it worse in a breakup are mistaken. Guys can be nice and emotional too as much as they try to hide it with their macho personalities. If she didn't see in you all your good qualities then she didn't deserve you, and another girl definitely will. Until then, have some fun! :)

New Maybelline Must-Have Products!

A week ago was in ABC Ashrafieh, Maybelline launched the new limited edition Kajal Henna Eyeliner that is absolutely to-die for! I originally loved their Colossal Kajal eyeliner and I was in need of a new one so I directly purchased this one. I don't want to exaggerate or anything but this is the best eyeliner I've ever used! I wore it yesterday for a good 12 hours and it didn't smudge and it kept my eyes perfectly defined all day! It says that it lasts 12 hours on the packaging and they weren't lying! Anyone looking to try a new eyeliner should definitely buy this one and enjoy the gorgeous limited edition packaging as well! 

Another purchase I made when I bought this eyeliner was the Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Leather Black mascara! I always love trying new Maybelline mascaras because I think they have the best ones and I've tried many of them. Over the years I've tried the Rocket Volum', the Falsies, and the older Colossal Volum' but this newest addition to their mascaras is by far their best one yet! My absolute favorite part about it is that it's beyond easy to apply. Its brush is big and it reaches all the annoying narrow parts that you face while applying mascara. Other than that, its clump factor is null, it perfectly separates the eyelashes and it truly gives a black leather feel to your lashes!

Flirtationship

So most single girls complain about how they don't have a boyfriend or someone who truly loves them and takes care of them. I won't argue, having a boyfriend has a lot of perks but why not enjoy your single days ladies? The best stage of being single is when you're in a flirtationship! Flirtationship (n.) : the stage between flirting and a relationship. So you're not close enough to be legit but you're also insanely flirting, and clearly there's something going on. It's a rush! Thinking of subtle things to say to the other person in order to hint that you're interested, eagerly anticipating what the other person is going to say or when the guy for example is going to ask you out. There are no strong emotions when you're in a flirtationship, sure your face flushes red when the guy says something cute and yeah she's pretty awesome when she sasses back at you when you tell her something sarcastic, but in the end you're both just enjoying flirting. This is the best part and don't burn it because you're moping about dating and whatnot.
