Beirut Designers Week 2015 at Zaitunay Bay

Currently in Zaitunay Bay, designers from all over Lebanon are showcasing their lines of jewelry and clothing. I must say it's a very proud feeling to see all this talent in Lebanon and the beautiful designs available to choose from. A particular line has interested me for a while. A line that does LiveLoveLaugh gold-plated bracelets and rings. As mentioned on their Facebook page, the proceeds of this jewelry line support "Gestures from the Heart" which is an NGO that aims to reduce hunger and poverty among abandoned elderly across Lebanon. What's better than purchasing gorgeous jewelry and supporting a cause at the same time? I purchased the Live bracelet and I urge everyone to go support the line and the cause!

So I wrote this thing a few days ago and I sent it to a couple of my friends (Elena and Livine) who instantly told me to blog it. I wasn't sure if I want to, but why not? I hope you guys like it just as much as my friends did! :)

So you've been obsessing over this guy for a while now but he doesn't seem to give you the time of day. What do you do? FORGET ALL ABOUT HIM!

L'Oreal: La Palette Nude

Finally! The much anticipated Nude Palette has reached Lebanon! Recently, I was at the L'Oreal stand in ABC where I spotted this palette and I just had to get my hands on it. I've wanted a nude palette forever! As you can see it has ten different shades of brown and beige and some greys. It has a two-tipped brush and a mirror inside it. I've used it a bunch of times so far and I'm loving it! All the shades are really pigmented and beyond easy to spread! 

For a regular day out, I tend to use the rather lighter tones giving myself a natural glow. However for a night out, I go all out and use the darker shades giving myself an almost-smoky look! 

Anyone who's looking for a nude palette, this is the one for you! I personally find that those shades are the best in general. I don't like colored eyeshadow, like blue and pink etc.. These colors are timeless!
